Most businesses seem like traps into their own form of slavery (ie mediocrity and semi-poverty), but succeeding in a C-level position also seems like the only way to make it in the long term.

Recently graduated with a CS degree, still can't find a job. Would it be a waste of time to consider officer's school? Both parents were officers and they've had very comfortable lives ($250k combined while working, $100k+ in retirement).

With them as connections and easy background check, it'd be easy to get in. I'm just looking for other opinions.
