So why doesn't she know about your link stack, anon? Why must you still keep secrets from your best friend? Are you ashamed of how many stinky linkies you have? Are you embarrassed by how much of your savings rely on this one bet working out?

From what I've heard delivery jobs are not too bad here. My friend was a delivery driver for Tesco and he read books and watched movies between his deliveries and listened to audio books during those trips anyway. You'd be delivering electric goods too which means no smells and probably more patient people ordering through a screen or online service so no unnecessary interactions. Driving can be a taxing job though on the mind if not careful too though.

From personal experience, I would avoid full time retail work at all costs. It is known to be some of the worst for a reason, next to restaurant service because it drains you. Sure standing and walking around talking to customers isn't bad at first but doing that 9-5, 5 days a week will mean you'll have no energy to do anything else unless you're motivated or you do it before your shift which isn't likely. No energy to pursue other work or goals, only time for retail, and then you get trapped in the cycle. Only benefit is there is high turnover in retail so you could be bumped up sooner if you can handle it for a year or two.

If its part time work, either is fine. Try working in fashion retail in particular if you do. They have clean environments and have uniform allowances to look smart casual so no paper hats. Avoid restaurants at all costs.

Real amazing, guy. Give anyone that much who isn't a doofus, and they'll make just as much.
