Chainlink is network that reads JSON files and sends the data to smart contracts. (That's called an "oracle".) Useful, but not a good investment since the idea can easily be copied and 66% of the tokens available are not in circulation. Also, although they claim that it solves the "oracle problem" (The oracle problem being that oracles are centralized, not decentralized.), it doesn't, since the data being fed through the ChainLink network still comes from a centralized API feeding data to ChainLink through a JSON file. Have been wagecucking specialized trades for 3/4 years nao. realize all my classmates will be graduating in the next year or 2. some will have a trade under their belt, some with a degree which will compensate them roughly $35/hr (CAD) where they will work for the man "comfortably". I am currently doing water treatment systems (Water softener, Reverse Osmosis, Carbon filters, Iron filters, U/V lights, etc). If i were to subcontract its roughly 200/250 per install, and 65 per simple filter swap and based on the average volume this company has i would be averaging 1k a week before taxes. (mind you i hate the aspect of having to sell yourself to customers as its not necessarily a job with bar standard of pay. Chingchong down the street will install for pennies.). So I find myself in this pickle where I need to make a choice. Apprenticeship, or School. All the while.... stinky ass linkies and other handfuls of cryptos might have another bull run and if I do school i just wouldnt be able to afford both. Now, mind you this is all based on my FOMO that in this next year/2, moves will be made in crypto. continuing, Starting as an apprentice i would get at best 20/hr(first year/2) and after tax id be raking roughly 2.8/3k a month. PHonebill, auto insurance, gas, rent , food im looking at like 1.5k clean(tops) to stack away every month and/or funnel into stink or something. in military id be puttting 3k in pocket everymonth no expenses (other than my well being ofcourse). After 3 years I can transfer to Cyber(or any sphere for that matter) and get education and training thats paid for, and once again would be getting paid with no expenses by which point stinkies will be $100 i presume. 20 years of service would lead to a pension of 40% of earnings in the 20 years but i cant see that far yet, too many circumstances.
Any anon who went through military, or have substantial info from someone who has have any input? (ie. programs, pays, experience, )
