The media-induced corona dip is only to buy time while the dollar switches from oil-based currency to crypto-based currency. This is a closely guarded secret known only to those at the very top of the financial pyramid

Bitcoin was advertised as digital gold, but the network is kneecapped and mining is centralized in China, and it doesn't have any returns or dividends to get Warren's dick hard. Hedera will transition to proof of stake and all token holders can receive staking rewards, just for holding. It's digital gold that PAYS you to hold it, and it can scale to mass adoption. What could be better? Also, low fees enable micro-transaction, so we could pay-per-click or pay-per-second, and the content creator gets payed directly. So far, the internet has been monetized almost entirely with advertising, and user data is harvested to enhance the ads, but hopefully Google is turning over a new leaf by working with Hedera Hashgraph...

Link was just another shitcoin ICO back in 2017. We either got into the pre-sale or bought link off the Etherdelta meatgrinder, and then we memed the fuck out of it until SIBOS, which was an obvious 'sell the news' event. However, narrative is more important than the actual technology, and since most 'investors' are not developers and are technically illiterate, they drive the narrative even harder because they want to 'contribute' to the conversation, when really they are overcompensating for their complete irrelevance. These normies have nothing of value to contribute whatsoever, but they outnumber the devs and they talk a good game, even to the point where they actually feel superior to others who do not hold such knowledge about the virtues of decentralized oracles. It's actually amazing; our little pump and dump birthed a cult following, and Link achieved a billion dollar market cap on sheer will-power alone

Don't trade. Market makers have infinite money and could buy/sell an entire orderbook in an instant, driving the price up/down, but that is not desirable when trying to accumulate/distribute the asset in preparation for a move. The limitation of the market maker is not capital, but liquidity. Say, for example, a whale has a large short position that gets liquidated from a larger whale driving the price up, forcing them to buy back what they sold on margin. Understand that someone else is taking the other end of that trade, and it's entirely possible that they were correct in shorting, but due to over-leveraging/miscalculation they get played by an even bigger whale who is using them as a liquidity pool with which the big whale can short into without moving the market. So the big whale was buying not to go long but only to pop some liquidations for that juicy short liquidity before driving the market down. Limited only by liquidity, it is the market maker's job to make everyone bullish before he tanks the price, and vice versa. Trading means believing you can outsmart the maker and predict his motive before it plays out. It stands that the vast majority of traders (95% +) lose money compared to buy and hold. Fundamental analysis is superior to technical analysis, and dollar cost averaging in and holding is superior to trading. You may get lucky and pick some winning trades, but this only reinforces bad habits which will rear their ugly head sooner or later. The statistics are clear and the answer is simple, DON'T TRADE

It's about risk management. If you are trading a market that only fluctuates a few percent a year, such as forex, you can afford to go all in, and even use leverage. However, since bitcoin is so volatile your stops will be much less tight, so you have more capital at risk, thus smaller trades.

So lets do some calculation. Traditional wisdom says only risk 1% per trade. Lets say you recently opened a short on btc at $8.4k with a stop loss at $9k, this means if you're stopped out you lose about 8% on your trade. If your operating capital is $10k, you're only willing to lose $100 per trade (1% of 10k), so your short is only $1250 (.08 * 1250 = 100). This may seem small, but trading isn't about hitting it big on a single trade like some degenerate gambler. Strategy and risk management are the keys to success in the markets
