>for a while had a routine of taking the little boxes of staples by the free-use computers at hotels
>have dedicated an entire drawer in my fridge to excess condiment packs from fast food restaurants
>a couple times a week I used to go to the supermarket and make a meal out of the various free sample stations
>occasionally, for free entertainment I go to the local ballfield to watch the school teams play even though I have no children. If there's a lot of people sometimes I can slip in and nab a free snack when they pass them out after the game
>sometimes at applebee's I complain that my steak is too rare/well done just because it's their policy to make another but let you keep the old steak too so I take it home in a to-go box

I know a lot of people who live now with their parents because otherwise they can't survive alone.
I myself are now in college, soon I will graduate, but talking to millennials and how screwed they are financially.
Below is an average example of a normal person in the working class in Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, UK.
Eastern-Europe is too poor to even compare and Northern-Europe is unknown to me. The wages can fluctuate from 1200 to 1800 mostly.
In my example I took 1500 as it is the average for the people I spoke with.

The following report can be seen as a dire collapse situation in Western Europe.

>Europoor
>Wage 1500/month, 18K/year
>No car
>No house, is renting
>Mortgage for a 200K house/apartment can go from 900 to 1500/month depending on the bank (If you can get a 30 year mortgage, if not the amount will be even higher)
>Since no car, can't live in rural areas were there is no public transportation
>Forced to live in the city or in cycle distance from work
>Car insurance (mostly between 200 and 400/month)
>Car mortgage fluctuates from 200-500/month
>Fuel costs average is about 100/month
>Car tax, repairs and other stuff can go from 50 to 100/month
>Rent is insanely high in the city for such wage, we look at a one bedroom apartment, it can fluctuate from 700 to even 2000/month (also we take the lowest)
>Food costs for one person can be from 50 to 100/month (if not carelessly spending)
>Internet cost from 40 to 100/month (we will take the lowest in our example)
>Electricity+gas around 150/month

today I visited this old lady that used to take care of me when I was a toddler and my parents were busy wageslaving at work.
kindest person I've ever met, love her more than half my family and now in her 80s she's lying on a bed with brain cancer, as of this week she can barely put a sentence together
