All of those European countries are actually capitalist countries that also happen to have "free" healthcare funded by excessive taxation. Those European countries are not true socialist countries like Venezuela (which is a failure.) The leader of Denmark even points this out by saying that Denmark is a capitalist country that also happens to have a robust social safety net.

The "European Model" of "socialism" works only because the following conditions are currently in effect:

>They all have small populations
>They are all first world with high incomes to tax to fund "free" healthcare.
>They spend nothing on defense because the U.S. has taken care of that for decades.
>They spend next to nothing on medical research because they leech off of American medical research and progress. Europe gets all the benefits with none of the expense.

If even one of these factors changes the "European model" will fail. We are already starting to see it begin to fail in the U.K., France, and Germany because excessive immigration of unproductive and burdensome people is starting to throw off the delicate balance in those countries, which will by extension imperil the systems of all other E.U. countries with time.
