I look at the sorry state of the world, form a nuanced sophisticated macroeconomic opinion then summarily ignore it. If you graphed the accuracy rate of every guru you've ever heard of, every fed chair and committee member that ever existed, and every economic nobel laureate on a bell curve it would amount to a standard deviation with a 50/50 chance of any particular opinion being right or wrong. Nobody knows where interest rates, GDP, corporate earnings, or anything else will be next month much less next year.
Throw all that shit away and do one simple thing. Look at the price. Is it going down? Sell. Is it going up? Buy. As simple as it is. Right now, what is price doing? Figure that out and you will know the bobo thesis
