So there was some good ideas and progress in >>45803 about creating an app or website that functions as both a social media site, an ARG and sort of like a tourism/local business advertisement that at a period of time gives users a task to perform with a random stranger selected based on mutual interests and personality, the app becoming less about the task (which should be interesting and set in exotic locations in your city, for example in my city of Brisbane you could be tasked to meet someone at the landmark tibetan temple made during the world expo and do yoga or something together) and more about bonding with a random stranger by doing random things that you aren't embarrassed about doing because you may never see them again

other features were also discussed like interwoven branching activities that involve a two opposing groups competing against each other and using a consistent team for the duration of "storyline", winning a section of the storyline may offer rewards like "intel" on next weeks activity or a dossier on one of the enemy players to look out for (leaving out their contact details but listing their non essential data that they have provided like hair, eye color, and "known associates" which would be the other players on their team) all of this would be opt in or out, you could choose to simply do the simple social activities with stranger if you prefer, favoring strangers to increase the possibility of coming across them again by a small percentage (probably 10- 20%), locale specific activities like a mentioned above (we'd have to start with generic activities and then hire local people to sort of scout the area and write interesting activities in their area, would prefer to hire people with experience in the tourism industry for this purpose) all of these would be more advanced stuff we could add on later.
