Those tests are mostly useful to tell real silver coins/rounds/bars from faked coins/rounds/bars, not for telling if a random silverish metal is Ag.

To determine the composition of a random metal object you either need to use xRF, chemical methods such as touchstones, or find the density using a method like picrel.
