Money changes so it’s fluctuation will change - even if it’s minuscule ( bigger amounts increase difference drastically ). This implies the amount of gold you receive will change - and gold is no different if you want to actually BUY something. The amount of notes you get will increase or decrease depending on its current value based fluctuations.


Also - when it comes to security - gold is stable sure - but so are bottle caps once fallout occurs. Bullets like in metro, etc.

Gold is valuable only because if it’s nature, it’s weight in history and how it’s not as common here on earth. There are planets and asteroids made of or abundant with gold hundreds of times bigger than earth. Gold had use in technology but I wonder how long until a super predecessor comes that even diminishes gold’s use like in headphone and cable end coatings.

You guys are so bought into the history you forget it’s worthless. It’s worthless because tomorrow XYZ could be made into history and will hold value because XYZ reason.
