It's a book about a guy that did illegal shit to make millions of dollars just to impress a bitch that forgot about him 7 years prior. The fact that she was married and had a kid should've made him realize that, but he decided to be an asshole and not leave her alone, and it ended in him getting killed. Should've just moved on with his life. They should've named this book The Great Oneitis

With GME, everyone could pile in and reasonably expect to come out in profit because they were sucking the capital out of an incompetent hedge-fund. It could actually, for once, be presumed to not be a zero-sum competition beween greater fools, because the hedge fund had already been identified as being the greatest fool of all.

With DOGE, there's no corrupt wall street entity being bled dry. It's just another game of hot potato and everyone's gains are someone else's losses. So why are the autists aping into it with the same righteous fervor that they aped into GME?

Trying to wrap my head around AMPL. So if the market cap gets to a billion will we have 2x'd from a purchase at 500 million market cap? or more due to compounding interest?

Hey frens,
in this we'll share our bad timing for past trades, I will start.
After initially making ~300 Link out of 39 Link through swinging with STA I sold my last 3k STA for 0.23 ETH while it would now be >2 Eth.
A few days ago I sold all my 200k FOUR to get more RSR, the same with 25k PNK. While I do not regret having more RSR, the timing was as bad as it could get lol.
I also sold half of my Link stack shortly before it broke out of the 5$ range, only had 1000 then though.
I also never cashed out during the '17 bull run.

Let's not hate on each other as we will all make it. Share your stories and laugh and cry together over.

You've never heard that expression before? My grandpa used to say it all the time. He would say "wow, things are really heading down the Pope these days". It's a saying from the days of Martin Luther when people had a distrust of the clergy.

For a lot of people, it's keeping tradition alive. Video game stores have gone the way of the dodo and it's sad honestly. You used to be able to go into one and there would be games and consoles for sale from Super Nintendo all the way up to fucking PS2. They were packed full of stuff. In some cases you would literally be tripping over shit when you walked through the aisles. Stores like FuncoLand, Software Etc., EB Games. Now you walk into one of these fucking GameStops and it's completely soulless with two 30 year old Boomer zombies working behind the counter that have nostalgia about the good old days. Sigh.

My dad knew a guy that knew like 20 different ways to commit suicide painlessly. He had a wife and kids but he just never had a positive outlook on life. When he was 55, he found out that he had pancreatic cancer and was dead less than 2 years later. The thing is though, when he found out that he was going to die, he didn't want to go. It totally changed his outlook on life. Just goes to show that you should live every day like it's your last and not be so sad and afraid all the time.
