Educate me anon why this is the case, because H2 is the lightest element in the universe, and it's the bonding with Oxygen that releases energy without the carbon leftovers from Hydrocarbon making Carbon Dioxide.

Cheers. I went down a massive rabbit hole looking into this as I started to ask questions on all sorts of things like what's the difference between rocks and stones, why can identical compounds be different things like crystalline formations and hydrocarbons, what is an element/chemical bond and why do they release energy when bonding, what are ion electromagnetic bonds, elementary particles, cosmic speed limit, Planck units. Why am I only paying attention to this stuff now when it would have been more useful to me when I was at school.
