If you had your car paid off, would you take out a loan on it to invest in the stock market, or in crypto? Do you think that successful people take out loans on their assets to invest in speculative gambles? Why would you hold ten thousand dollars of credit card debt while also holding a speculative asset you hope will beat the interest rate on your credit card loans? Same for student loans. The compounding interest on your loans is working against you, and you're playing games with crypto and stocks instead of knocking it out? Every single purchase you make while in debt is a purchase that you effectively took a loan out for. Every. Single. Purchase. When you go spend $15 on lunch while also having a car loan, you have just taken out a loan to purchase that lunch at the rate of the car loan. Think!
