Explain to me why you would buy gold as a hedge against inflation. The banks printed trillions of dollars after 2011, and the price of gold not only didn't rise, it crashed by half. If people spend the new printed money in stocks and houses rather than buy gold with it, why would the price of gold go up? Why is Peter Schiff going to be right this time if he was wrong last time?
