The thing about silver is that it's an extremely manipulated market. Big holders like JPM will dump shares after a huge run up for crazy profits then promptly buy back cheapies. You will likely see them continue to rise for a little bit but they will collapse similar to the dot com bubble and the japanese asset bubble.

The safe bet is to go in on precious metals and defense contractors(avoid BA piece of shit) if you are going long. Eventually China and US will duke it out and send global largecaps into the gutter. That's when you transfer from metals to a rebuilding growth portfolio.
