I need a bit of advice /biz/.

I made my first trade yesterday. I've never invested money before, at least not by myself. I only used about $180 but as of today, I made $8. I don't know why but, this is making me really fucking excited. I've haven't felt so passionate about something in a long time.

So, how do I learn how to trade and make money in the markets? I know, it's a broad question and there are plenty of books but I wanted some advice from people who may have started just like me and were able to make something of their investments. My economic knowledge is limited to reading Basic Economics (Sowell; inspired me to make a trade in the first place) and On Progress and Poverty (Old as fuck book but interesting). Most of the terminology and ideas make sense but I need practical advice.

I was grinding away at my Mcjob but now I have coronabux to play with and my rent/board is covered. I know, I shouldn't be getting hyped about $8 but, it was the first bit of money I've ever made without having to bust my hump or take shit from asshole bosses to keep my job.

All I did was get an ameritrade account and got a bit lucky...I can't roll like this forever though and if I want to make something of this, I need to get serious and study. Where do I get started? I'm already in the process of using my extra cash to consolidate my student loan debt and set up accounts so I can keep track of my earnings for tax purposes and such...It's kind of a lot to take in.

Advice?
