I always thought it was because the 30-yo boomer is past his prime, and energy drinks help him feel some of that youth energy. thought monster ultra was ironic because it's such an edgy name and they sponsor a lot of MMA which is also very much a 30-yo boomer thing.

tbqh if some genius marketing chad thought up that associating his company's drink with tired millennials past their prime would be a good idea and it is actually working he deserves his stock to go up
