He mostly owns dividends stocks like KHC and VOLV-B.ST as he's trying to maintain his wealth and supplement his pension rather than take on risks for bigger returns.

In past 2 weeks I switched to buying only stocks that pay dividends. At least in their case, I can translate stock price to money I'll get in return, and choose ones that will give me best yields.
In my opinion any stock that doesn't pay dividend is worth $0 and is just makebelieve. You're simply looking for bigger fool who will pay you more money than you spent on usless stock.
I will still speculate, since it's fun, but I don't expect it to be as easy as it was in 2020 anymore.
