My LINK is spread across a private wallet and a bunch on coinbase exchange I moved there from binance like a year ago; too afraid to move the balance from coinbase to my main wallets because right now the IRS has no clue about my main wallet, and I'm worried sending my LINK from coinbase there would let the IRS track it easily.

HOw is everyone else storing thier LINK? spreading across a few wallets or keeping them in one place? I just just a hair under 32k and I;m starting to get nervous leaving so much in one place desu; but on the other hand keep tracks of a dozen wallets doesn't seem like a good idea either

Also is it even worth diversifying?

I fell for the shitty diversification meme end of 2017 and at one point had 10k REQ, 10k XLM, 10k QSP, and 1k SALT

LINK was always my biggest bag but if I never got suckered into diversifying, my LINK stack could have been about 60k right now. Market feels slightly less speculative now in comparison. QNT, UBT, and RLC feel more legitimate in terms of not just promises but actual development and working with the actual respective industries

Since the pathetic discord trannies are in full force today I'm going to dump every part of the whitepaper explicitly calling Chainlink out by name.

"Our Mixicle design goals are simplicity and efficiency, as well as compatibility
with the Chainlink network and its accountability features, i.e., ability to monitor
and enforce correct oracle behavior"

"We have implemented a SIMI-PPS Mixicle prototype smart contract for Ethereum in
Solidity using Chainlink’s SDK. Thanks to the intentional simplicity of our protocol,
the contract consists of only 188 lines of code (excluding comments), making it easy
to audit. (We would like to emphasize, however, that this prototype has not been
audited and should not be used in production as is.) Furthermore, the gas cost of
running the contract is moderate even though the contract has not been optimized."

"Whenever a new round is being set up, the example contract makes a call to
the Chainlink oracle contract to request delivery of data and pays the oracle
in Chainlink’s LINK tokens. Users are expected to have funded the example
contract with an appropriate amount of tokens. (As we mention in Section 3.4,
we have chosen for simplicity to omit payments to oracles from protocol descriptions in this paper.)"

"Due to limitations of previous versions of the Ethereum Virtual Machine, Chainlink currently only allows oracles to deliver a 32 byte response payload. Therefore, in our prototype the oracle only delivers a tag value, but no player signatures, allowing a malicious oracle to report an invalid tag for which the players
haven’t agreed on a payout slate. We note that this attack is likely not too
relevant in practice, since the oracle can already mount a more powerful attack
by reporting a false outcome."

"We look forward to including these ideas and more in later versions of this paper
and/or follow-up work, and welcome corrections and comments from the Chainlink
community as we refine the early work presented here."

Alternatively, if you compare the current link chart to what ETH did back before 2017 if you scaled it down you could say that what we're in right now potentially is the bottom of the "first selloff" phase of the chart posted above. Assuming history repeats itself with LINK we could see $15-20 EOY and/or if another altseason happens close to $50 next year

But that's just my gut feeling, nothing more nothing less

I mean isn't that just shorting an ETF? Seems pretty risky though, especially given the fact that ETFs have a much higher tendency to be stable, and actually go up and resist recessive markets most

Why 700K? Why not 1M? This is just a stupid theory of mine but we don't know if they're actually selling the tokens or not. If they actually were selling there's no fucking way we'd still be over $1 at this point in time.

The original 1K eoy meme, does anyone have that image? Additionally how many times have they moved 700K linkies? Maybe they're trying to tell us something
