When was the last time your saw a Vice Video on their site, I'd bet close to Zero times, You see their content on facebook and youtube, who previously would only take a slice of the profit, are now taking almost the whole pie. Self shot content is way cheaper to produce and can regularly get millions of Veiwers e.g Pewdipie. Vice's videos with a production team costs a lot more to make.
