let's not forget that BTC's refusal to change also spawned ETH (and thereby lost Vitalik Buterin as a bitcoin dev).

we also lost Mike Hearn just because BTC refused to change. he's done so god damn much for bitcoin, i cant imagine where we'd be if he was still on board the last three years
