Having a thin credit file is something else, and it's true that an 800 with several open lines of credit is better than an 800 with one credit card, but all the rest of what you're talking is paranoid nonsense. No, you don't need to hold a balance to "show you can pay it off" without being "suspicious". Are you applying for a job at Fort Knox or something? Some government job with Super ExtraDoubleMax security clearance? Good credit just means you haven't fucked any creditors over which is all anyone cares about, it's not a schizoid horoscope litmus test.

In my city, Spanish-staffed McDonald's are the best. The best thing you can see walking into a fast-food restaurant is half a dozen 4'11" middle-aged brown ladies. Someone's daughter is the manager, the place runs like a well-oiled machine, the food comes out hot and fresh and FAST. They are born with The Wagie Gene, bred for millennia to know that even hard work is preferable to idle time. Their husbands work construction and live off chain restaurants, so the fast-food is prepared with as much love and pride as if being served to one's own family.

The worst places to go are staffed by blacks in their 20's and 30's. Everyone there is quietly (or, often, not-so-quietly) seething that this is their job and fucks up anything they can to antagonize the customers and incite conflict. There must be several seconds at minimum between every task, where literally nothing is done (not even checking a phone) out of pure resentment for having to do anything at all. Their customers are exactly the same as them except on the other side of the counter/window, and so they engage in a spiteful dance of poor-service, because their customers do not deserve nor expect any better, and no party has any agency to improve their situation. These people are hateful, the food is horrible and provides no nourishment. The food is served cold and stale. I literally don't know how they do it. If you told me they made one batch of burgers and fries at the top of the day, then doled them out even through the lunch and dinner-rushes, I would believe you. Somehow this pre-prepared food still results in a 35-minute drive-thru experience. A masterpiece of spiteful incompetence. I've gotten through a Hispanic McDick's drive-thru, from the back of the line to my first bite of DELICIOUS food, in 6.5 minutes. Heed my words.
