The thing is, Bed Bath and Yonder announcing a restructuring strategy isn't really bad news. Worst case scenario is there's no baby buy-off and Ryan rugpulled everyone, but the company isn't going bankrupt anytime soon and there's still some effort to save it for the long term.
It really depends on what people want. Hold long term for potential gains (worst case scenario) or the rumors were true and no amount of bitching and can kicking by hedgies can prevent another early gme tier squeeze (best case scenario)
