Read books, attend conferences, generally study finance, become a steady investor, and consider entrepreneurship.
I know a millionaire or two (not that I can prove it online), and I just checked out the books "The Millionaire Next Door" and "The Intelligent Investor." The former is a series of studies interpreted about your average American with a net worth of at least 1 million USD, and I haven't started the latter, but I'm inclined to trust an author Warren Buffett learns from.
Finally, live frugally. Millionaires exist by saving money, not just making it.
