Selling 30 delta covered calls against a SPX position (BXMD) outperforms since CBOE started tracking it. But it's easier to buy and hold, especially with tax implications.

I think a combination of VOO and SSO for 1.5x leverage is fairly safe. Especially if you DCA into both long term. Or QQQ and QLD.
