I’m fairly certain you’re creating taxable events without trading. Thatd be a nightmare of daily rebase tx’s to track if I just want to hodl and I likely couldn’t argue ltcg and subsequently report with compounding tax burden as well. What a headache, imagine forgetting about this in 2020, it tanks in 2021 and you’re stuck with an exorbitant tax burden from the previous year despite not actively trading and netting a loss. What a nightmare.
