I agree with you. But in the short-term we are seeing deflation, even by John Williams' own stats (pic related). Headline CPI is technically in deflation territory (negative) and real rates are currently rising. This is going to fuck over corporations over the course of the next few quarters when rolling over debt, let alone trying to issue any new debt.
