2017 bullrun. Rode shitcoins like Stratis and Antshares in May/June 2017 with a small percentage of my Bitcoin portfolio and more than doubled by BTC stack. DeFi is not locking up ETH to the degree that ICOs are. It's also mostly ponzi rewarding with inflating tokens and you get to lockup all kinds of shitcoin tokens as well as ETH. The surging ETH gas also will mean more ETH for miner rewards that they will dump to sell. Oh BTW, DeFi tokenization and lockup of capital benefits BTC more than ETH. In a short amount of time, there is 2.2 BILLION in WBTC locked up vs 1 BILLION of ETH in DAI and probably less ETH than that in other things services.
