Alright, say you get millions of dollars and you want to park it in an index fund. I had the idea of splitting the lump sum up across 12 months, in order to withdraw 4% on a yearly basis each month for long-term capital gains tax.

Is this doable? Could it all be done within the same index fund or the same account?
