Been up and fucking down this month brothers. First I had a job at a lab. Shit was crazy, breathing in coal dust, being told to label various samples with initials that I was never explained and other stuff. Quit after first day. Now the lab isn't even there any more and I'm not sure if I hallucinated it or if this was a twilight zone thing.

Then I applied and was interviewed to be a jeweler again, manager loved me, but his boss hasn't called me since. Probably won't get it due to being in grad school. Understandable, but still. Need the money.

In other news, while shopping for gifts for my wife, our children, and I, we went to a friend's antique store. I gazed upon a box, marked "19.95 all". Tis just a lovely red wooden music box. I open it, it's filled with gem stones. Rubies, citrines, emeralds, topaz, peridot, rutilated quartz (Titanium bro), opals, more than I'd seen in a while. I ask them if they're sure, and they happily lower the price to 15. I'm cataloguing it all now, will likely get appraised by a gemologist later. Shit is crazy. Pic related, the box and everything.
