Yesterday was low volume despite the quick rise. Futures probably would be a good 3% in the red this evening if no progress had been made on the bill. Holding the majority of yesterday's gains in to close would be a big show of support for the stimulus. Stay tuned.

The fundamental situation is all over the place here. Upside depends on speculative buying coming in to position for the eventual recovering. If these prices aren't cheap enough to get lots of buy volume in from that direction, the rally will putter out and the lows will be tested again. TA situation is more clear. S&P needs to at least hold current level on above average volume for one and a half trading sessions to generate a buy signal on my stuff. In that scenario is would be the higher risk early signal. The conservative buy signal needs three days of buyers mostly maintaining control of the price action and rejecting sell off attempts.
