Either way they lose. If they do get rid of all of us, what kind of life are they doomed to? The entire planet would look like the middle east and africa. Obviously I'd rather we not all be wiped out, but there is at least comfort in knowing what kind of sad existence they'll live if they're successful.

This is what bothers me the most. These people have all the available knowledge there is. I'd bet history is much more different than what we're told, and that the version of the bible we have is bullshit. Imagine if all that knowledge was in the hands of the good guys...
