If I had a gwei for every time this was directed toward me I'd be able to afford a small country by now. Long story short, I started last year and got justed for a while then discovered this guy on youtube called quickfingersluc and actually started making some money with his system. It's basically swing trading but paying extra close attention to support. After doing that for a couple of months and making some gains, I had about 0.6 btc ($10k). Around January when the bottom fell out is when I started doing market making. I basically discovered my system on my own and later found out it was market making so no books or whatever for that. Search the quickfingersluc guy since he's a good start for shitty traders to git gud.

No margin though I'm thinking about getting into it since the volatility is starting to calm down as the bear is dragging on. I trade everything that moves on as many exchanges as are viable.

I don't (as of yet) margin trade. I got started about a year ago and learned the ropes during the market run-up in the latter half of 2017. Right around the time everything started dumping in January, I had a coherent strategy and did well trading the volatility on the way down. The fact the market was so steep in December is probably half the reason I did so well coming down. People couldn't dump their coins fast enough. I scooped up the mini-dips on shitcoins and sold the rebound. Then the coins crashed more which for me equaled wash rinse repeat. Now the market is calming down, especially in the last couple of months. The noobs have left so the market is a bit savvier. Also, the volatility is much less as people have less profits to take so no enthusiasm for just dumping. This could all be a good thing as we're looking poised for some kind of rebound. I'm still making money, something like half to one btc a week but it's much harder. I've had to refine the shit out of my strategy. That said, I'm considering trying leverage. I think I have enough of a handle on what I'm doing to at least test it out. If it doesn't work I won't lose much but if it does..

Break even? Brah, I started with 0.6 BTC in January and have been steady accumulating all the way through the bear. The trading is amazing when nobody wants their coins anymore. They dip, I scoop. It's like Willy Wonka's chocolate fountain. I hope this thing lasts another couple of years. I wanna see Bitcoin at $200 and Ethereum at 50 cents. Just closed the trade that made it happen. Feels good fellow /biz/raelies. Been staring at charts and trading like a madman all week. I know it isn't much to the bizillionaires around here but it means a lot to me. No ico's, no moon missions, just pure buying low and selling high.
