Did HVAC and Refrigeration for years. Steadily climbed up to $30/hour but had to sell a fuckton of units and maintenance contacts. My sales slipped for 2 months and got axed. Went back to a HVAC/plumbing job for $26/hr and reduced hours. Lower back and other stress/ bullshit made me look elsewhere. Where Covid shuffled it up for me, now I instruct drivers for Amazon to drive step vans at $20/hr plus major benefits and get as many hours as I want. I've hovered $45-55k for 3 of the last 6 years doing HVAC, I can't seem to go above that. So I'm gonna just chill in my comfy desk job with zero stress and responsibilities are already across my team and we all delegate work and make the process perfectly smooth and streamlined. Also free lunch and stocks.
