Hey /biz/ I flunked out of school and am wondering if the major I wanted is actually right for me. I'd like to try to see if I can obtain an internship to see if I like doing work in the field but i'm not sure how to put on a resume that i'm not currently tied to a school. Any advice?

How do I get over guilt at not working (whether through a job or learning in my own time or whatever) 24/7? I also feel guilty about recently turning 24 and living with my parents after finishing a STEM masters degree last year.

Even the choice of productivity system is one that makes me feel guilty. I don't want to schedule every minute of my day and this makes me guilty.

Should I really care? Do other smart people waste their time (I dont care about people who are poor or unintelligent)? One reason to feel good is that many high achievers do 4 years of undergrad and 3 years of law school (I.e. no hard skills and nothing other than a passport to wagecuckery; yes I include Harvard etc students in this) and don't finish until the age of 25, so I guess I have another year to learn the skills I want and experiment with small projects.

Do people who work at famous companies usually learn useful skills (I specifically mean things that make you a millionaire or better) or are they doing specialised stuff with no real applicability?

So what was that special trick that will make you stop procrastinating and start working hard for long hours?
