only because they're continuing to cannibalize their assets and getting a huge tax benefit (also the only reason they even beat the abysmal negative EPS estimate)

like the shorts were definitely right and it was only a 50% short interest at the time, it's just they were too stubborn and didn't trim their position after share buybacks turned it into 100%. Then Sherman comes around and does the one thing that was keeping Gamestop a lucrative turnaround play
The website continues to be mediocre after he's had more than a year to try and turn it around. Also apparently disagreeing with Cohen, a legit hope

Pic related Party City is obviously not the best comparison, but comparing GME to Bestbuy is not good either. Either way I'd say Party City is a good example of a b&m retailer that shifted into e-commerce pretty well. Revenues are very slightly lower considering it's still B&M, but what is impressive is their gross profits are actually higher. They also gave a guidance during their Q3. This is also fucking Party City, the kind of retailer you'd expect to have been the most fucked during covid restrictions

What excuse does Gamestop have? Cohen is literally the only hope right now. Gamestop has no fundamentals
