I think I found an inefficiency in some market, that if fixed, could be worth about $1000 for every $1 of the current price. Problem is the very high barrier to entry: just making the product would take at least a year of full time work, until getting to acquiring customers. So how would you get these first customers in a very conservative industry that's rolling in cash? Because the solution is so much more efficient, you could aggressively undercut the competition, but that could look cheap and have the opposite effect.
