The most important thing is to:

1. Check the mass, diameter, and thickness. If one or more of these factors are off you have a fake.

2. Does the coin pass the all three measurements? Good, but you still have one more important test: the ping test. Tungsten is a metal that is very similar to Gold in density/weight, so fake coins with tungsten core can have similar weight and dimensions. However it easily fails the ping test. While tungsten makes little to no sound when tapped, real coins with copper (e.g. Eagles) makes a very distinct very high pitched and loud ping noise when tapped with an object.

3. If the coin passes all the tests mentioned above, then the only concern is having a fake coin with real gold (so real gold but fake mint/design). In this case the only loss is the premium then.

Why the fuck are idiots in this board so stupid. It doesn't matter if silver drops back to $15/oz or even less than that. Just wait a few years for the next recession and it will easily become $50/oz again. Unless you bought your stack when it was $50/oz, you're making easy multiplying profits.

You guys can't wait a few measly years? Then go ahead and panic sell like idiots. Hope everyone here are just joking.
