Who gives a shit? It's just gentrification. No one simply has the right to live in a place just because they live there now. Your house is not promised to you. If you can't afford it, move out. You can't afford to live there anymore.

And this is coming from a native New Yorker, look how close I am to where the new Amazon campus would've been. It's getting too expensive here, I'm being gentrified out. I have a decently paying 65k job, and the mortgage for a 750sq ft 1 bedroom LIC apartment which goes for around 750k would be 90% of my salary. What am I supposed to do, complain? No, I'm planning to move to the Carolinas in a few years.
