You ever wonder why all cryptos simultaneously drop at the exact same time bitcoin drops? Its because bots (algos) are controlling exchange trades. Youll never beat them on the short term side. They read a market signal and immediately transact without any human emotion. Multiple bots will do this and theyll essentially control the direction and spread of whatever crypto youre trying to sell. Theyre called automatic market makers and theyre responsible for over 70% of trade volume in this space. If you want to beat them and actually make a nice profit, youll have to make a long term trade (ie where you think the market will be in 12-24hrs). Youll almost always get btfo trying to swing in real time. Its like trying to play chess with a computer. They process every move you make and react accordingly with the most successful possible move before, during, and after you hit buy/sell. The fancier ones even have human capitulation factored into their algos. Sorry you had to learn this way OP but it will save you a lot of money, time, and stress if you know about this now.

Hey are there any big brain medicine boys in this lobby right now?
I got a two-parter question right here.

Won't the quarantines being implemented for corona also significantly slow down the spread of similar disease (common flu, etc.)?

Are there any companies that make a large amount of their earnings on treatments for such diseases?

the current index dynamics are like 96% headline-driven
maybe 100%
so the traditional guidelines are less controlling

what I'm trying to say here is that I have no idea
but I don't think anyone else knows either
count on VIX to stay high, in the 20's at least for a while even if things seem to settle down over the next few weeks. If things get worse (big cities quarantined in the US/EU), we could see a big ear up towards 50/55.

>Is Peter Schiff right?
about some things, yes.
about other things, no.

>Is this chart basically Bitcoin at 20K.
No. bitcoin is a currency, the S&P 500 is an index that tracks the values of equities.

Robinhood inaccuracies. Been looking at options and it is inaccurate. Almost every single piece of the prices listed are inaccurate. How hard can it be to sue them for easier cash than trying to win on the market? Also any commision free stock trading apps without such a plethora of wrong information?

>Literally says the cheapest option is close to $0.20 on the premium. Yet I can purchase it for more than half off nearly instantly after submitting. It only shows accurately the last price purchased for.

>Dividend yield, every stock thus far has shown it incorrectly, I got screwed buying GE stock at a higher price thinking it had a higher dividend (13%ish not freaking 1%) and the price has crashed since.
