I did do work on synchronous condensers in Manitoba for their converting station where they converted the electricity from the northern DC transmission lines, into AC electricity

very interesting stuff (pic related)
did the system engineering, factory work, field work, and commissioning of the machine

I have a lot of overlap with Nikola Tesla when it comes to high voltage high frequency electricity and R&D. I even worked on some of the same powerplants that Tesla worked on in Niagara Falls 100 years prior.
