the LP is definitely iconic, but weighs a shit ton and just screams boomer who can't play worth shit. i can't separate the two things, as hard as i try, and i know its a solid axe.
was just at a huge sale event at the local music store and when i arrived there were like a million boomers with LPs, strats, and teles creating possibly the worst and most pathetic cacophony i've ever heard - and i'm a music teacher.
anyway thinking of pulling the trigger on this picrel meme jazzbox

if you're going to buy a meme guitar, get a gibson es-175 full body. well worth the price tag depending on the year imo
Ibanez and Jacksons are for trailer trash, Suhr is for Guthrie Govan wannabes, and Charvels are for 30 year old boomers who got into 80s hair metal too late. strats, teles, and les pauls are redeemable but mostly owned by actual boomers with lots of money but no skills. kiesls and strandies are for djentfags who haven't discovered music that goes beyond the third fret. jaguars and mustangs are for courtney love apologists and people who thing alice in chains was actually a good band.
mass-produced lutherie peaked with the es175, everything else is pure cope
