Well put it this way - Inflation isn't even remotely close to solved. Eggs are $10 in some areas, housing is still up 3x, food is up ~40% on average in some states, etc... This is largely due to the fed giga printing 60%+ of all US dollars in circulation in the past couple of years, and many other additional factors. Now the problem is, the debt bubble is still at ATH, wages haven't gone up AT ALL in the past few years to match the cost of living giga pumping, and disposable income is absolutely REKT. Cost of lifing going up isn't a problem IF and ONLY if wages and job growth are matching the heated demand, but they (obviously) are not. In fact, we're starting to see some heavily aggressive layoffs beginning to occur.

So the fed has two options to deal with this crisis: They continuously raise rates and get people fired from their jobs, make housing dump, and cause mass foreclose on homes (This would heal the inflation issue).... Or they declare a "soft landing" and continuously pump the markets. If they do the former, we can get the pain out of the way (This will put bitcoin anywhere between $1k and $3k) and perhaps bottom out in a few years with some luck. If they do the latter, well... I recommend you look up the Weimar republic. The resulting hyperinflation would create a pico-top bubble pattern, of which the pop would be utterly biblical and make the current financial situation look like a cakewalk. I know it sounds like "number go up or number go down", but this all relly means "number go down, or number go up for a bit, followed by number go REALLY down to zero".

TLDR; We'll continue the bear market, or we pump for a bit followed by a cataclysmic civilization collapse event

BTCUSDshorts chart isn't budging. They're probably just keeping the price dangling there in hopes FOMO keeps rolling in, but normies don't have shit for disposable income anymore.
