Broke people used to be called unfortunates, people who rolled a life of shit instead of being born rich or around rich people.
Even though we live in a modern, liberal age without an aristocracy, unfortunates still exist in great numbers, yet we have the gall to ascribe a stupid degree of agency to their station in life.
It ain't the womens' fault, I wouldn't marry me right now. This is a fuck up that obviously extends beyond me or anyone here or any women we all may know.
