The dream is unironically dead.

The HOLO team have embarrassed themselves in various ways, including but not limited to not having a network, and selling people hardware and not delivering it.

Unfortunately this was probably their best move.

If they would have shipped the (now obsolete) warehouse PCs they sold people, it would be painfully obvious that they are just perpetuating a scam.

Now they have no choice. It has been too long. They have to make a move because people are running out of patience.

This shines a light on the most glaring issues: there is no working software, no Holofuel, and Holoports are about to be declared paperweights in videos and reviews on youtube and all over the internet.

So not delivering looks bad, but it gave them the opportunity to squeeze out this last big PnD before they are caught red handed selling useless legacy hardware with no real software platform to speak of.

At this point there is zero hope for this zombie project and the slow exit scam is underway.

I guess that's what happens when you steal your product strategy from a parody show about Silicon Valley.

To sum it up, if the ports ship it's going to zero. If the ports don't ship it's going to zero.

This latest effort is just a poorly paid shill group hired by the team and the few ramaining bagholders that know they are stuck with this garbage.

The team is exit scamming on you right now. There is no software and the hardware they sold and never delivered is outdated now.

As a mutual credit currency, Holo fuel’s supply is determined by the interactions between agents with positive and negative balances. The key factors influencing the supply are:

1. Hosts’ spending behaviors into and out of negative balances (confined by their credit limit)
2. How often people buy fuel from reserve accounts vs. regular exchanges
3. Hosts’ redemption behaviors

Holo fuel is a mutual credit currency:

Transactions between two accounts with positive balances (or two with negative balances) have no impact on circulating supply. To see why, consider this example:

Fatima and Ellie both have a balance of 100 Holo fuel, representing a supply of 200 Holo fuel total. Fatima agrees to pay Ellie 50, so that Fatima ends up with 50 and Ellie ends up with 150, resulting in the same 200 Holo fuel in circulation—exactly what existed before they transacted.

In contrast, consider this variation:

Fatima, an application provider, has a balance of 200 Holo fuel. Ellie, a host, has a negative balance of -200. These balances represent a total active supply of 200 Holo fuel total. Fatima agrees to pay Ellie 50 Holo fuel for hosting services. Fatima ends up with 150 and Ellie ends up with -150, paying off part of Ellie’s debt and removing 50 Holo fuel from circulation.

Therefore, it is only accounts with credit limits, host and reserve accounts, that determine the supply of Holo fuel. When their balances go negative, circulating supply goes up. When their negative balances move toward positive again, in other words, as their debts are paid off, supply goes down - as long as the negative account is transacting with a positive one.
