How to be a cheap Jew.

Let's face it - a large part of being rich is spending less than you make. Mr Money Mustache blog is pretty popular and has sound advice.

I have distilled his advice down so you don't have to spend hours reading his articles.

Mr Money Mustache principles:

1. cut TV and don't watch it
2. cut your own hair
3. learn to cook your own food cheaply
4. use the library for books
5. clear your debts
6. don't borrow money to buy car
7. buy a car cheap on gas
8. live in a cheaper apartment/house
9. exercise at home
10. buy nice clothes but keep your closet minimalist

So there, you can look like a normal fag while being a cheap jew.

Share your tips, living in a van by the river is cool too.

BTW, I like reading books, so instead of wasting time going to the library back and forth and worrying about due dates, I just download all my books for free into my e-reader (kobo)

This is something I thought about this morning.

Textbook prices are too high.Usually alot of courses use textbooks which have new editions and can't be found online.

Why not get a hold of a course readings list weeks before the course starts, scan the textbook and convert it to pdf format and sell pdf's to classmates for a fraction of what the bookstores sell for.

Majority of classes use tablets, it works out.
