If the US boycotts, sanctions or otherwise attempt any tangible threats against Saudi Arabia for whatever libtard reason, Russia will delight to step in and offer to take the US' seat. Russia would have the upper hand over a greater part of the middle-east (Saudi Arabia alone is almost half the size of the whole region), and the oil that once fuelled the US' interests will instead serve Russia's.
Which is to say, the United States can't afford to risk SA, even if sometimes they try to boast leverage or pretend they have some sort of chokehold on them.
