It seems to me that while many of these altcoins have technical advantages over bitcoin, none of them are used for anything but speculation. I think cryptocurrency may have a place in the future, but it seems to me that for now its main practical purpose is black and grey market transactions. I have seen Btc, and to a lesser extent ltc, and even doge being used for this purpose, but outside of that, I see very little practical use for crypto. By the time the world is ready for crypto outside of black/grey market transactions, won't technology have changed enough that current altcoins will be obsolete?

Convince that altcoins are anything other than gambling.

>What about if I bought some Ethereum or Dogecoins?
>Potentially another tax event. Think of it as selling Bitcoins back to cash, then buying your other coins with that. That sale might have gains, and so is treated the same way.
>...Potentially...
Notice that word "Potentially." Their source on all this is the IRS guidance I posted earlier, which says to treat virtual currency like property. And like I said, maybe the IRS will treat crypto-to-crypto as a taxable event one day, but there's no evidence of that yet and the guidance seems to indicate it's a like kind exchange. If you want to be extra conservative you can go ahead and treat it all as taxable. I'm going to risk it personally, but I'm giving no tax advice in this thread.

If I start selling replacement parts for a piece of machinery that has been out of production for years now under my own "brand", but market it as "unnoficial", will I get in any legal trouble?

What if it uses the same design as the original piece?

This tool has been out of production for 30+ years now, but the company still exists.

I just found the coolest thing for anybody who’s curious about making money on the web.

Everybody knows about all the fake opportunities out there, but what about the “2%” of ones that are legit?

This guy shows you how to identify the REAL opportunities from the fake.

This is a real eye opener to say the least!

My broker allows commission-free purchases for all ETFs but also, for a select number, commission-free ETF selling as well.
https://www.virtualbrokers.com/contents.aspx?page_id=99
Was wondering what your thought process is on which funds to buy, how do you pick and select from a list like this?
Should I just stick to S&P500? Which one? (Horizons S&P 500 Index C$ Hedged ETF, Powershares S&P 500 High Beta Cad Hedged Index ETF, BMO S&P 500 Hedged to CAD ETF) What about other US Equity funds? (Sorry, I am new to this)

And I was reading the terms of my broker regarding its free ETF and it gives a condition:
>the trade should not have an offsetting side (i.e. the existence of both a buy and a sell/short of the same ETF for any volume for the same day would disqualify the trade for this offering).
What does this mean, the 'offsetting side'?

Cryptogator.net and BIZcoin

Why won't it create a bizcoin wallet but it will generate a new address in the vanitygen?

I would like to get involved with bizcoin and the cryptogator platform looks like the best service for my purposes. Thanks.
