Because some people are smarter than a 3rd grader and understand that the lasting economic effects of a slumbering economy will be devastating. Do you think there will just be infinite money to give out a year from now? Do you think that goods will just be manufactured, processed, and shipped magically from thin air? Do you think that the poverty levels of the Great Depression aren't anything to worry about? Do you think that increases in depression, drug overdose, and suicide is a good thing?

I really don't understand how people are having a hard time understanding this. Are you actually over 18 and think that society can just function with money and goods magically being delivered to your door indefinitely? How can anyone thing this is about "I sure really wanna go work work right now" instead of "we're heading into Great Depression 2.0 and if we don't stop this shit now we will have a death count higher than the faulty Covid19 projections claimed we'd have."

Really makes me question the capability of the general population to think ahead more than 1 week into the future.
