I've been thinking recently about how I perceive the world and interpersonal relationships. To me it's almost always a hierarchical structure with a certain set of rules, even though I know in order to really ascend, you have to "think outside the box." And when I observe the people who I think to be successful, I find that their way of thinking is way different than mine. I am having trouble explaining my thoughts here but say, I've been an "outsider" most of my life with regards to school and work etc. I always tried to find the better options, the shortcuts like most of you here, I've never had a boss and I made a lot of money from crypto. And despite all that, I am feeling like I am not as original in my thought patterns as I'd like to because I am still thinking about "rules" and then I am thinking about avoiding them or taking a shortcut around. What I'd like to be is thinking about phenomena and act upon them, not the rules surrounding those phenomena.

Anyone feeling the same?
